Health and Safety Conference Header

The Public Employees Federation Health & Safety Program would like to invite you to this year’s Health & Safety Conference to be held on May 11- 13, 2026, at Crowne Plaza/Desmond in Albany, NY

The theme of this year’s conference is “Bee Involved in Health and Safety”

The conference is an excellent opportunity to network with fellow labor and management health & safety representatives to discuss key safety issues.  Past conferences have featured national and state experts, and prepared participants to accomplish important safety initiatives for cutting edge health & safety programs. This year the focus will be on rebuilding and fortifying health and safety committees. Workshops include Addressing Health and Safety Concerns in Leased Spaces, Building the Foundation: Health and Safety Committees, Test the Strength of your Workplace Violence Program, Office Ergonomics, Navigating an Incident: Beyond Spreadsheets and more!

PEF Health & Safety team is ready to answer any questions. Feel free to contact us at HealthAndSafety@pef.org any time.
