The numbers tell the story:  Union members make more money, have more reliable health care coverage and retire with greater financial security.  (U.S. Dept. of Labor website, “The Union Advantage“)  Because they stand together, they have the power to negotiate for the wages and benefits they deserve.  But being in a union is about more than just pay and benefits.  It’s about respect for work.  It’s about being safe and protected on the job.  It’s about having the resources and training to do jobs well.  And it’s about always having someone to turn to if something’s not right. Joining together in unions not only leads to better lives for you and your co-workers, but helps build a better America, now and for future generations.

PEF has not increased its dues in decades.  The current payroll deduction amounts to less than 1% of an employees’ salary. (0.9 of 1%, to be exact!)  If you have already filled out a membership application, thank you!  If you haven’t and would like to, you may either sign up online or download the appropriate form below.

You can then fax this form to (518) 252-4050 or scan it and email it to: JoinPEF@pef.org.  You can also print the PDF and mail it to:
