Communications

The Communications Department is PEF’s creative branch and the driving force behind media coverage, the content you’re reading on this website, social media, signage, printed materials, and media campaigns that support PEF’s views, activities, and policies. Department staff design and facilitate production of printed materials, including (but not limited to!) member-engagement brochures, posters, stickers, and billboards, as well as PEF merchandise. The director and staff of six work as a team to advance the priorities and strengths of the union. The department also orders business cards for elected leaders, creates certificates of recognition and retirement upon request, as well as sends targeted emails to members about upcoming events and meetings. PEF Communications also produces The Communicator, which is published every 10-15 days and sent to all members via email.
