Christopher Moreau has been with the Public Employees Federation since 2024. In June 2026 he was appointed Regional Director of Field Services for Regions 4, 7, 8, and 9, based out of the Region 9 office in Poughkeepsie, N.Y.

Prior to his appointment, he served as a PEF Field Representative covering multiple agencies across the Hudson Valley. Before joining PEF, Christopher spent more than a decade with the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision as a Correction Officer and Correction Sergeant. He previously served as Regional Vice President and Board Member of the New York State Correctional Officers & Police Benevolent Association (NYSCOPBA). In that role he represented approximately 18,000 members, chaired the Statewide Grievance/Legal Committee, trained and supervised shop stewards, and negotiated hundreds of discipline, grievance, and medical resolutions.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Criminal Justice from the State University of New York at Albany and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration at Empire State University. He also completed the Advanced Grievance and Arbitration Program at Rutgers University in 2025.
