PEF Relief
Posted in:

We heard today from many PEF members in regions 10, 11 and 12 who have been impacted by the flooding and other damage caused by the remnants of Tropical Storm Ida.  New York has declared a state of emergency in the following counties: Bronx, Dutchess, Kings, Nassau, New York, Orange, Putnam, Queens, Richmond, Rockland, Suffolk, Sullivan, Ulster and Westchester.

President Wayne Spence and Secretary-Treasurer Joe Donahue have activated the PEF Relief as a way to help members who are likely to have needs not covered by insurance.  If you’d like to donate, please visit this link.  We would like to share stories moving forward about how the fund helps members, so please email us at communicator@pef.org if you have a story to share.

If you experience any work-related issues as a result of this weather emergency, please reach out first to your field representative.  You can reach the Region 10/11 office at (212) 227-3132 and Region 12 at (631) 360-4360.
