Alison is the Deputy General Counsel in the Office of General Counsel at PEF. She began her career at PEF in 2010 as Associate Counsel and, after a brief departure in late 2017, returned in early 2020. Alison was promoted to Assistant General Counsel in August 2021 before advancing to her current role in August 2025.
Alison launched her legal career in 2005 as an Appellate Court Attorney at the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Third
Department. She went on to serve as an Assistant District Attorney in the Albany County District Attorney’s Office, where she prosecuted a wide range of cases—from felonies and misdemeanors to vehicle and traffic matters—and appeared in County Court, City Court, and various town and village courts. She also argued multiple appeals before the Appellate Division.
Outside of her legal work, Alison resides in Colonie with her two sons and serves on the Board of Directors for the North Colonie Youth Baseball Association.
