Are you a teacher, nurse, engineer or other professional whose state job requires a license or certification? If you paid for certification and license renewals required for your job, you may be eligible for reimbursement up to $200 per fiscal year under the Certification and License Renewal Fee Reimbursement Pilot Program negotiated between PEF and the Office of Employee Relations.

The reimbursement has increased from $100 to $200 for members who submit applications which show the date of payment for the qualifying expenses was April 1, 2022, or after. Applications for courses or events that began on or after April 1, 2022, and ended prior to May 16, 2022, must be submitted by August 15, 2022. However, generally the deadline is 90 days from the date of payment.  This program reimburses by date of payment.  Please see the 2021-2022 or 2022-2023 guidelines for details.
