This four-session virtual workshop, from 9 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. July 11 to 14 and August 1 to 4, will utilize the Project Management Institute (PMI) framework to develop and formalize basic project management skills in leaders on IT project teams who may already be managing projects.  

Topics include an overview of the PMI Project Management Lifecycle, Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), PM roles and responsibilities, overview of project schedules including estimating techniques, dependencies and critical path, establishing project baselines, project status reporting and project closure. 

Upon course completion: 14 Professional Development Units.
