Clinical work with children who have experienced trauma can be an unpredictable and daunting task. Oftentimes, clinicians feel stuck as they create a path to help children process their past experiences. This virtual training, from 9 a.m. to noon August 16, will address the common issues that occur in the treatment process that can lead to increased avoidance, resistance, or non-compliance in the therapy process. Ways to recognize, identify and prevent this will be discussed in this training, as well as creative methods to help children heal and address their traumatic experiences.
