A PEF sponsored  bill to extend the period of leave for Workers Comp
injuries from 1 year to two years has been passed by the Assembly and is being
considered by the Senate, where it could come to a vote on the floor but not on a specific
schedule. This change will benefit PEF members who are injured on the
job in that the time period prior to termination will be changed from 1
year of cumulative time to two years of consecutive time. Please write,
email, or call your legislators to support the Senate bill!
