Haiti Quake Relief

Many of our members and leaders have asked how we can help the victims of the earthquake in Haiti. According to our international affiliates, the best way to do that is to make a donation to the American Red Cross International Response Fund at redcross.org or by calling 1-800-RED-CROSS. Donors can designate their gifts to Haiti relief.   In addition, people have chosen to make a mobile donation.  Donors can text "Haiti" to 90999 on their cell phone to send a $10 donation to support Red Cross relief efforts in Haiti.

It is acceptable for your regions or divisions to use their budgeted fund for donations to the ongoing relief efforts.

PEF will continue to seek additional ways to provide support to the quake victims through our internationals AFT and SEIU, and as more information regarding relief efforts become available we will share the information with you.
