PROFESSIONAL CAREERS TEST BEING HELD

PEF members serving in SG-18 and lower titles should consider applying for the current Professional Careers Test.  The announcement is available on the Civil Service web site at www.cs.state.ny.us.  A PEF member with a BA/BS in any major serving at SG-14 and higher would make themselves 70.4 transfer eligible to these SG13-18 administrative traineeships just by passing this test with a score of 70. The list resulting from this exam will be used to fill these jobs until 2009.  The written test is scheduled for February 5, 2005 but applications must be postmarked no later than December 6, 2004.  As noted on the announcement, be sure to use the special application form when applying for this exam.
