CONTRACT UPDATE #36
On February 5th a contract settlement was reached.  Pursuant to PEF rules the agreement will now be presented to your 125 member Executive Board for consideration. This will occur on February 20, 2008. If the Board approves, the agreement will be sent to the membership for a vote. Here is the timeline:

2/20/08             Executive Board Meeting  

2/21 – 4/10        Membership Meetings Held Across the State  

3/20                  Ballots Mailed to PEF Members (by AAA*)

4/10                  Ballot Return Deadline

4/11                  Ballot Count (by AAA*)

PEF has posted at its website important information on the contract including:

-         Side by side comparison of gains and tradeoffs

-         Salary schedules (2007, 2008, 2009, 2010)

-         Actual Contract Language
