CONTRACT UPDATE #34
The Governor's senior staff have weighed in. State and PEF negotiators are getting back to the bargaining table today.

The stage of bargaining we enter is extremely sensitive. Any communications misstep could blow it up. As we have done in the past there will be no further contract updates from PEF until we have either arrived at a deal or reached impasse.

The Contract Team (see them at http://www.pef.org/pst2007/contractteam07.htm ) appreciates the support you have provided them from the beginning. Together we will achieve a fair and just deal.
