Covered dependent students shall be provided with a three-month extended benefit period upon graduation from a qualified course of study. Effective July 1, 2008, covered dependent students shall be provided with a three-month extended benefit period upon completion of each semester of study. The benefit extension will begin on the first day of the month following the month in which dependent student coverage would otherwise end and will last for three months or until such time as eligibility would otherwise be lost under existing plan rules
