TABLE TALK
Bargaining progresses with negotiators having met twice this week. The Governor’s Office of Employee Relations (GOER) provided PEF with the final pieces of their health insurance proposal – specifically, the Rx portions. All pieces of the puzzle are apparently on the table. The next meeting with GOER is scheduled for Tuesday, December 9. The Schools for the Deaf and Blind are on the agenda.

ACTION ALERT - COLA Now!
Empower your negotiators! 1300 of your colleagues have already taken action! There are thousands more who are impacted everyday! A permanent wage COLA is necessary for those who work in high cost areas of the State to raise their quality of life to standards in other parts of the State and Country. Send a fax to Governor Pataki today and ask your friends and coworkers to do the same. Let the Governor know how important this issue is to you and your family!
