SUBJ: Contract Information


Please find enclosed a 16 page explanation (requires Adobe Reader) of most of the important changes in the PEF contract. This information will be used as part of the full contract language mailing to the membership. This information is so valuable that I wanted you to have it immediately.

Also enclosed is an e-mail I received today from Christopher M. Roeth. Mr. Roeth is a Senior Court Officer who is in the Senior Court Officers Association, and he writes to congratulate PEF on our fight back against time clocks. Recently, his professional union lost that fight and, of course, he is extremely disappointed about that. I believe his letter is a credit to PEF’s tenacity on this important professional issue.

I look forward to seeing the PEF Executive Board on Friday, July 30.
