The New York City PEF office is moving back to our home at 136 Church Street in lower Manhattan. This decision was reached after the restricted area was moved to south of Park Place, which is three blocks south of the PEF office.

Approximately a month ago, PEF received a report from our landlord dated September 28, 2001, from Walter B. Melvin, LLC, finding our building structurally sound and safe to reoccupy. We also received a report dated October 1, 2001, from Dun-All Environmental, Inc., finding the air was within all established criteria and that 136 Church Street was safe to reoccupy. I communicated to the PEF staff that we would not transition back to our office until our building location was open to the general public. Based on the reports cited above and the area being now accessible to the public, we are reoccupying our office at 136 Church Street effective Monday, October 29, 2001.
