PEF member Danielle Bridger conducts peer-to-peer training for PEF Region 8 members February 25 at PEF headquarters in Albany. PEF Region 8 Coordinator Michael Blue (standing at right) organized the free training for members preparing to take the state civil service test March 16 for associate accountant and associate auditor titles. Nearly 90 members took the training. Blue said he hopes to arrange additional peer-to-peer trainings in the coming months. PEF stewards in New York City learn how to better represent members of their PEF divisions at training held January 30 at the union’s field office on William Street. The training is being conducted by PEF Field Services. When the training concluded, stewards told Region 11 Coordinator Bernadette O’Connor that the information they gained makes them better equipped, and more ready and prepared to represent their members.
