PEF leaders urge members to help stop the tax break for millionaires
Monday, November 21, 2011 at 10:11AM PEF leaders are asking members to contact the governor and let him know the tax break for millionaires is not fair.
PEF President Ken Brynien said, “The wealthiest New Yorkers already pay far less in state and local taxes as a percentage of income than middle-class taxpayers. Our members have sacrificed for the state. It’s time the rich do their fair share.”
If you would like to help, write a letter to the editor of your local newspaper, urging the governor to reconsider his stand on the tax break for millionaires, and to do what is best and equitable for all New Yorkers.
