Parole officers will talk with legislators about the need to keep trained peace officers in all stages of parole supervision, with adequate staffing, as well as the need for legislation to give parole officers benefits comparable to other law enforcement officers.

Monday, April 11, 2011 at 1:28PM If you are a PEF member and parole officer in the New York City metro area, you may want to attend a membership meeting Thursday, April 14, at UFT, 52 Broadway in NYC from 6 to 8 p.m. The topic of the meeting will be the merger between the Division of Parole and the state Department of Correctional Services.
