Monday, May 23, 2011 at 2:54PM PEF nurses from around the state will visit with lawmakers in Albany Tuesday, May 24. Nurses Lobby Day is held annually to have face-to-face visits and discussions with state Assembly members and state Senators about issues that are pressing to the nursing profession, such as short staffing and ways to improve the quality of patient care.
Monday, May 9, 2011 at 3:12PM Nurses Lobby Day is Tuesday, May 24. PEF nurses are being asked to gather at the Empire State Plaza Convention Center in support of legislation to enact safe-staffing ratios and safe-patient-handling procedures. Registration begins at 11 a.m., followed by a luncheon. Lobby appointments will begin at 1:15 p.m.
