PEF Region 8 continues drive for Northeastern NY food bank

PEF members in the Capital Region area are collecting non-perishable food items for the Northeastern NY food bank. If you would like to make a donation, please drop off your items in the lobby at PEF headquarters. Items will be collected through December 23.

Volunteers needed to shop, wrap gifts for underprivileged children

Volunteers are needed in PEF Region 8 to help support the holiday fund for families of parolees who are in need, and the children of St. Margaret’s. If you would like to donate a couple of hours to shop, meet at PEF headquarters Thursday, December 9 at 5 p.m.  On Saturday, December 11, helpers are needed to wrap and assemble packages from 10 a.m. to 12 noon also at PEF headquarters. PEF Region 8 launches annual holiday food drive

PEF Region 8 members are being asked to make a difference this holiday season by contributing to the Regional Food Bank in Northeastern, NY. The drive starts Wednesday, November 17 and ends Friday, December 24. You can help in three ways. Bring a non-perishable food item to PEF headquarters. A collection box will be located in the lobby. You may leave a monetary donation. Or, you can volunteer at the Regional Food Bank kiosk at Crossgates Mall on Saturday, December 4, If you are interested in volunteering, call the PEF Region 8 field office at 1-800-342-4306.
