PEF supported bills pass Legislature, await signing by the governor

At the close of the legislative session last week, seven bills PEF supported passed both the Senate and Assembly. One is a bill that would regulate the process for awarding contracts for certain types of consultant services by state agencies. For a complete listing of the bills that await the governor’s signature, visit the PEF website. The governor generally has ten days to sign or veto a bill, once he receives it. The bills are delivered in batches over the next several weeks and anytime before December 31.
