Report on cost-benefit analysis arms members with vital information
Monday, May 9, 2011 at 3:14PM PEF released a cost-benefit analysis report last week that shows new research that identifies how the state can save $300 million annually if it takes reasonable steps to reduce the excessive use of consultants.
PEF President Ken Brynien is urging legislators and the governor to pass and enact the cost-benefit analysis legislation that would require state agencies to do a cost comparison to determine whether state employee could do the same work at a lower cost.
The report and information about the bill is available on the PEF website.
