PEF testifies at state Senate Transportation Committee
Monday, May 16, 2011 at 2:23PM A PEF leader will provide testimony Monday, May 16 to the state Senate Transportation Committee on why public-private partnerships are a bad deal for New Yorkers. The meeting begins at 10 a.m. in the Legislative Office Building in Albany, and is open to the public. Ed Lucas, PEF’s state Department of Transportation labor-management chair, will point out how public-private toll road projects, valued at a half-trillion dollars, failed or were radically reduced by citing several nationwide examples.
