PEF joins New Yorkers for Fiscal Fairness in rally against tax breaks for millionaires
Monday, February 28, 2011 at 11:54AM PEF Region 8 members are invited to participate in a rally to protest tax cuts for millionaires. It will be held Tuesday, March 1 at 12:15 p.m. at the west side of the Capitol in Albany. PEF President Ken Brynien said the proposed budget provides a massive tax cut for the wealthiest three percent of New Yorkers, when working families are struggling. Another rally to support Wisconsin workers will be held, Tuesday March 2 at 4:30 p.m. at the Rochester City Hall. For more information call Aron Reina at (585) 263-2650. And, PEF members also are invited to join a rally/solidarity event on Thursday, March 3 with the Teamsters Local 445 Union at 4:30 p.m. at 15 Stone Castle Road, Rock Tavern in the Hudson Valley.
