Payment dates for raises expected in late June
This is the PEF Information Line for the week of Monday April 28, 2008.
Since the PS&T contract has been ratified, PEF members should expect to see
the retroactive pay and other increases starting in late June. Specific
information will be available after the pay bill is introduced into the
Legislature and processed by the Office of the State Comptroller.
Executive Board holds quarterly meeting
PEF’s Executive Board will hold its quarterly meeting on Tuesday, April 29 and
Wednesday, April 30 in Albany. On Tuesday, Andy Stern, the president of the
Service Employees International Union, will be the guest speaker. Executive
Board members will also receive a financial update and vote on the tentative
agreement between PEF and the United Steelworkers, the union that represents
most of the PEF staff.
