PEF Leaders at September 11th Memorial Service in Washington, D.C.

PEF leaders President Susan Kent, Secretary-Treasurer Carlos Garcia and Vice Presidents Barbara Ulmer, Wayne Bayer and Wayne Spence joined with fellow union leaders of SEIU and AFT at a memorial service to commemorate 9/11 at SEIU headquarters in Washington, D.C. President Kent addressed the gathering, remembering the 34 PEF members who perished on 9/11, as well as another PEF member who succumbed to illness sustained on 9/11.  Kent also addressed the need for changes in public policy to ensure the health and safety of all workers.
