December 9th Day of Action

Governor Paterson’s plan to lay off nearly 900 state employees has the potential to seriously hamper services on which New York State taxpayers rely, the very services you provide.

Each and every state employee laid off will cut back on purchases at their local stores and will spend less money in our communities. This is the ripple effect Governor Paterson forgets about and the one he certainly doesn’t want to discuss.

Thursday December 9, 2010 will be a statewide day of action for our members and an opportunity to stand united against the layoffs.

Let the public know you support your fellow PEF members and all state workers by wearing a sticker on December 9^th.
