Urgent Message Regarding Layoff Material Sent By PEF

Packets were mailed out providing information to members who potentially faced layoff.  Due to the disorganized way the state is carrying out the layoff there is no central list of individuals targeted for layoff, and we have relied upon our local leaders to provide this information.

Rather than risk members who are targeted for layoff not receiving information regarding their rights and benefits under layoff procedures, PEF mailed packets to all our members who at some point in the process were identified for layoff.

If you have been informed by your agency that you weren’t or no longer are a target for layoff please disregard the packet and letter.
