Laser Vision Correction Program

The Laser Vision Correction Program, a new benefit in the ’03-’07 PS&T Contract, will be implemented on April 1, 2005. The benefit provides a discount to members who have laser vision correction surgery performed by a provider in the Davis Vision Laser Vision Network.

Members can save up to 25% off the provider’s usual and customary fees, or receive an additional 5% discount on any advertised specials, whichever is lower. Some providers offer flat rates equivalent to these discount levels. The member is responsible for paying the discounted price.

All surgeries, including PRK and LASIK, are performed by credentialed ophthalmologists and surgeons. More information about the program, including a list of providers in the Davis Vision Laser Vision Network, was mailed to members during the week of February 28.
