**Navigator Trainings 2008**

PEF has been training leaders and volunteer members to become “NAVIGATORS” in a two-day program established by the State AFL-CIO.  In the program, participants interact with a panel of experts about injured workers’ basic rights and entitlements under the Workers’ Compensation and Civil Service Laws, and Article 13 of the collective bargaining agreement.  PEF’s “NAVIGATORS” advocate for injured members and participate in legislative efforts to fight attacks on the rights of injured workers and prevent cuts in benefits.
