training program entitled
“How
to Investigate and Solve IAQ Problems”
May 20-21st, 2008
at the State Office Building, Governmental Plaza, Binghamton, NY

Union leaders and agency managers are often confronted with concerns about
indoor air quality and mold contamination in the work environment. The Committee
recognizes the importance of providing trainings on these topics to management
officials, union representatives, and building personnel. Understanding the
fundamentals of indoor air quality and mold contamination and remediation can
assist in the timely identification and resolution of these problems.
The programs are open to all Labor and Management Chairs of the Agency Level Health and Safety Committees as well as building managers, supervisors, and other building related personnel. Each agency Health & Safety Committee is invited to send up to three (3) representatives to the program. Selection of participants shall be done through a joint consultation between the agency and labor chairs of the committees.
