Benefit Change in 2007

In 2007, the benefits provided by Article 13  increased the amount of time an employee can receive their health benefits as an active employee from 12 to 24 months in those cases where the absence is caused by a workplace assault.  The Plain Language Brochure has not yet been updated to reflect this most recent addition.
