This two-day conference is designed to provide participants with proven practices for safely lifting, repositioning, and transferring patients, residents, or individuals being cared for in acute, long-term or residential settings using new and emerging technology. This conference will help participants to understand the elements of successful Safe Patient Handling Programs and practical ways to develop and implement these elements. This conference is for workers with little knowledge of Safe Patient Handling principles, as well as for more experienced staff. Participate in hands-on demonstrations of current technology provided by experienced healthcare practitioners.
