PEF’s newly-elected statewide officers were sworn in to office August 1, 2018 by American Federation of Teachers President Randi Weingarten. The standing-room-only ceremony was attended by past and present PEF leaders, legislators, state commissioners, PEF staff, and family and friends of the new officers.

The officers are: PEF President Wayne Spence; Secretary-Treasurer Kay Alison Wilkie; Vice presidents Adreina Adams, Randi DiAntonio and Sharon DeSilva; trustees, Christopher Buman, Jeanette Santos and Maddie Shannon-Roberts.

Stephanie McLean-Beathley was the Master of Ceremony.

Weingarten, Spence and Wilkie spoke at the event, each stating the importance of unity, striving for teamwork to better lead the membership, and to hold sacred the mission and vision of PEF. #WeAreStrongerTogether
