UPDATE FROM PEF PRESIDENT WAYNE SPENCE ON FORMER DIVISION 235 COUNCIL LEADER DEBBIE LEE

PEF Members:

Last Spring PEF began litigation against former Division 235 Council Leader Debbie Lee, seeking the repayment of money that was determined to be owed by Ms. Lee to PEF, for her misuse of a PEF purchase card and misappropriation of division funds.

I am reporting to you today that in December 2015, Albany County Supreme Court fully granted our motion for default judgment and ordered that Ms. Lee remit $64,104.88 to PEF, plus interest. I want you to know we are seeking to enforce the judgment through all means available.  It is my duty as PEF President to ensure that PEF is made financially whole once again, and I take that responsibility very, very seriously.
In Unity,

Wayne Spence
PEF President
