New York, NY 10007
PRICE: FREE ADMISSION FOR PEF JEWISH COMMITTEE MEMBERS
Please join the men and women of the PEF Jewish Committee for a night of learning, introspection and enlightenment at the Anne Frank Center in NYC. On the evening of Wednesday July 1, 2015 the PEF Jewish Committee will have exclusive access to the Anne Frank Center and it’s new exhibit ANNE FRANK AND HER TIMES, which offers an up-close look at Anne’s family story, a facsimile of her actual diary, artifacts from her life and an interactive space for reflection. Following a private showing of the award winning film “The Short Life of Anne Frank,” we will have a Q&A with an actual Holocaust survivor or child of survivors, as well as time to tour through the Anne Frank Center’s permanent exhibit.
Founded in 1977 by Anne Frank’s father Otto, the Anne Frank Center USA, a partner of the Anne Frank House, uses the diary and spirit of Anne Frank as unique tools to advance her legacy, to educate young people and communities in North America about the dangers of intolerance, anti-Semitism, racism and discrimination, and to inspire the next generation to build a world based on equal rights and mutual respect.
NOTE: Due to limited space, seating will be limited to the first 40 people who RSVP. Please RSVP no later than Monday June 29, 2015 by emailing Paul Kalka or calling him at 5167-660-1972, or emailing Ben Gamoran. Light refreshments will be served.
