Survey on proposed changes to the Workers Compensation Board

Workers’ Compensation Board has begun to implement a Business Process Re-engineering program that will be issuing recommendations for change in the Workers Compensation system .PEF is an active participant with other unions in analyzing and commenting on all proposed developments. We join our labor brothers and sisters in voicing our deep concerns about the potential diminishment of benefits. PEF member input is needed, especially from those who have used the system in the past.

A survey site has been set up to hear your comments about:
• Unreasonable requirements/ Need to streamline the process
• Limited access to doctors / Long waits
• Obstructionist insurance carriers
• Lack of return to work protections
• Other issues you encountered

We urge you to assist us in letting the members voices be heard.
