PEF Outlook Web App Instructions

Please note that we have implemented SSL certificate security to encrypt all information over Outlook Web App.  This means that your browser must accept the PEF certificate if prompted to do so and your Firewall’s must permit SSL communication (this is normally done as large sites such as Amazon.com also use this).

With Microsoft Office Outlook Web App, you can use a Web browser to access your Microsoft Exchange mailbox from any computer/mobile device with an Internet connection. In fact, you can do most of the same things you can do with Microsoft Outlook, such as read and send messages, organize contacts, create tasks and rules, schedule appointments, and access shared calendars.  Users will have options similar to the full Outlook program that they may already be familiar with.

Important:  To help protect your mailbox from unauthorized access, Outlook Web App automatically closes its connection to your mailbox after a period of inactivity. This is particularly important if you use Outlook Web App from a public-access computer or Internet kiosk. If your session expires and you still need to use Outlook Web App, refresh your browser and log on again.  Also, even though all traffic is encrypted, please be aware that if you are using a public/work computer, they may have software installed on them that can monitor your activity.
